Summer Solstice

Summer sun.

Today's the longest day of the year. But if you're as busy as I've been, all the days have seemed to stretch long in the past month or two. From sunrise to sunset, working hard is the norm for this time of year.

Still, it's a beautiful day to stop and pause. To breathe. To savor the summer sun and the way it is going to warm the land and grow our food over the next couple of months.

Happy Solstice! And here's some reading about growing blueberries, those delectable summer treats that gather up the warmth of summer sun and deliver it in little blue spheres of sweetness.
