Itching to get your hands in the dirt? Well, if you're lucky enough to have minimal snow cover, you probably can. Starting seeds early just requires a bit of creativity - and advance planning helps, but if your soil is workable, hey, go for it! (But, this year, build yourself cold frames, polytunnels, or a greenhouse that you can work through the fall and winter, and early season gardening will be much easier next year!)
