
I know, I know. I'm completely ignoring the deep freeze that has most of the Northeast in its grip. We're inside huddling around the woodstove. (Actually, not entirely true - we took a walk this afternoon when it was 10 below zero. It was a short walk.)
But I've got my eye on the lengthening days and the fact that it will warm up to the 20s for a high tomorrow - downright balmy when compared to our low of -27*F last night. Maple sugaring season is right around the corner. Now's a great time to collect some supplies and to read up on the process, especially if you're never sugared before. Get ready because it is going to be a lot of fun!
