I wanted to share a great new farming book with you: Farm Together Now, by Amy Franceschini & Daniel Tucker. The book's subtitle, A portrait of people, places and ideas for a new food movement, gives you an inkling of what it's about. The photographs by Anne Hamersky and illustrations by Corinne Matesich are a big part of this portrait, woven through visits to twenty farms across the country, "talking to farmers about their engagement in sustainable food production, public policy and community organizing efforts."
Sounds like a vibrant, inspiring read for a snowy winter's day. And if you want more literary inspiration, check out our list of Top 10 Books for Farmers.
