Food First is an organization committed to bringing much-needed food to Haiti. They're working with farmers in other areas of Haiti to get food to people in need in and near Port-au-Prince.
As small farmers, I know there's nothing we feel closer to, than helping people get the nourishment they need in the wake of this devastating earthquake. Food First has been working to bring small-scale-grown food to low-income and malnourished areas - in Mexico, the US, and other developing countries - even before the earthquake in Haiti.
It looks like a worthwhile cause to donate to, if you're wanting to contribute money to a cause close to your heart.
