Lately, my hens seem to think that a particular corner of the coop is the best spot for their eggs. Do you find a lot of "floor eggs" - eggs laid on the floor of the coop? Or maybe your hens prefer finding a cozy spot in tall grass to lay their eggs.

Floor eggs can be old and inedible. It's a waste of feed, and it can be frustrating when nothing you seem to do encourages them to lay in their nest boxes.

Sometimes the key is just that - the nest boxes. Are they comfy enough for your hens? Here are some tips to ensure your hens will lay right where they're supposed to.
